“I started as a police officer and while there I got concerned with the cell conditions especially when pregnant women were arrested for crimes (they would share the cell with men before being taken to court). I decided to study a Masters in Public Health to gain knowledge on how to help these women and now, I am a health implementer.” Godson Reuben Ladu, student from South Sudan. This is a testimony of one of Masters in Public Health Leadership students who graduated from Uganda Christian University’s 19th Graduation Ceremony.

Six students graduated from the masters in Public Health Leadership, a course offered by Save the Mothers, and they are now health advocates in their different professions like Ladu above. Applications for the International Class of September 2019 and the National Class in October are open! Please follow the link for details.
